CH50 Compatibility
The CH50 housing is designed as a universal solution for small industrial cameras. Compatibility depends on camera height and width, lens diameter, connector position, front cap type, body length, and the selected back cap or cable gland.

Basic compatibility of the camera assembly
H Camera height
Standard camera height: 28–29 mm. Customized enclosure: ≤27 mm or up to 31 mm.
W Camera width
Standard width range: 27–40 mm. Customized enclosure: up to 44 mm.
Ø Window / lens diameter
Standard front window: 35 mm. PMMA and Airshield options allow larger or different front openings.
Please note: Lens locking screws When checking compatibility, always consider the maximum lens width, including locking screws, filters, adapters, and other elements of the optical assembly.

Front cap and optical access
The choice of front cap affects window diameter, durability, cleanability, and the risk of image cropping with wide-angle lenses.
standard glass option HK9L glass 35 mm + colored cap
Available with red, blue, or black front cap. Suitable for most standard small-camera applications.
larger PMMA window PMMA 50 mm front cap
Useful where a larger front opening is needed or where glass is not permitted.
for air curtain Airshield front cap with 38 mm HK9L glass
Prepared for applications where an air shield helps keep the front window clean.
for air curtain Airshield front cap with 38 mm PMMA window
Airshield option for applications requiring PMMA instead of glass.
Please note: PMMA PMMA is less resistant to scratching and high temperatures than glass.
Please note: Focal length Wide-angle lenses may require a larger window or a different front cap to reduce the risk of image cropping.

Housing length
The housing length must be selected according to the complete camera and lens assembly.
F
Front body
The front part of the housing intended for the lens. Available configurations include F04, F05, F06, or custom FXX length.
B
Back body
The rear part of the housing intended for the camera, connectors, and cabling. Available configurations include B10, B11, or custom BXX length.

Custom length
Custom length can be specified as FXX+BXX. Maximum total length: 25 cm. Verify the required space behind the camera connector.
Please note: Cables Leave enough free space behind the camera for safe cable routing and connector handling.

Cable gland / back cap
standard option M25 cable gland with 2×6 mm insert
Common cable gland configuration for routing camera and auxiliary cables.
alternative option M25 polymer cable gland with insert
A polymer cable gland option for applications where this material is preferred.
without gland No cable gland / hole
For cases where the cable entry will be solved separately.
closed rear cap No cable gland / full back cap
Full back cap option for special installations or further customization.

Camera mounting kit
included Standard CH50 camera mounting kit
Standard mounting plates support 2×M2 with 12 mm spacing or 2×M3 with 20–26 mm spacing.

Custom lengthFront and rear section length can be prepared to match the final camera, lens, and connector assembly.
Custom camera mountingMounting plates can be adapted for cameras shorter than 28 mm or for non-standard screw spacing.
Custom logo engraving / printingCustom logo engraving is available; custom logo printing is intended for larger orders.
Airshield front capAirshield front cap options are available for applications where keeping the front window clean is important.
